SHOWROOM

01 Initial State
The future flooring showroom is situated in Dejvice, Prague 6, within an unfurnished interior characterized by atypically positioned windows and ample natural light. The project required a comprehensive design of flooring, ceilings, lighting, and exhibition systems. A key challenge was integrating an existing prefabricated exhibition stand, originally used for trade fairs, into the new floor plan.

02 Design Philosophy
The interior was functionally organized into five principal zones: the main showroom, a Velo bar with tiered seating, an office area, meeting rooms, and the prefabricated exhibition stand. This layout ensures both spatial clarity and optimal flow between public and private functions.

03 Colour and Materiality
The interior is defined by a restrained material palette, with black built-in furniture and exhibition structures serving as a neutral backdrop to highlight the flooring samples. Throughout the space, solid oak wood flooring provides visual continuity and warmth. In the showroom, suspended ceilings with integrated linear lighting enhance the presentation quality.

In contrast, the office and meeting room areas feature a lighter material and color palette, with soft neutral tones and subtle textures chosen to support a comfortable and focused working environment. These spaces are intentionally more subdued, creating a balance between the bold character of the showroom and the functional needs of administrative areas. Acoustic performance and visual comfort were also prioritized in the selection of finishes for these zones.
