family house - MNÍCHOVA LEHOTA

architecture
2024

The architectural study deals with the design of a new family house. The new building is proposed in the built-up area of the village with the surrounding development of family houses. The aim of the architectural study was to achieve the full use of the proposed land in accordance with the municipal plan of the municipality of Mníchova Lehota, with the incorporation of elements of modern architecture. The family house is designed as a stand-alone building, consisting of a ground floor (1NP) and a first floor (2NP). The house has a plan shape of a bent rectangle. The building is two-storey with a flat roof. The building is located in the northern part of the plot along its edge. The ground floor is partially buried in the ground with access to the garage for 2 cars directly from the street. The floor connects directly to the courtyard with the southern facade.

The main entrance is located on the first floor and is oriented to the south, to the courtyard. In terms of material, the floor is optically separated thanks to the different surface treatment of the facade, which will be specified by the investor. The social and private zone of the house is located on the first floor, and the technical facilities are concentrated on the ground floor. The layout of the family house reflects the shape and orientation of the land, which enabled the placement of the living rooms mainly to the south, partly also to the west and east. The house has a covered outdoor terrace. The terrace is located towards the south in the yard, in line with the mass of the house. The land is fenced with a fence made of concrete blocks, with a surface treatment reflecting the surface treatment of the ground floor facade. The entrance to the plot is solved without fencing for easier access and greater contact with the street space.
